Marissa sprained her ankle but Mommy & Daddy didn't know that until we took her to the emergency room! At least she got lots of special attention from the doctors & nurses. She also got her first x-ray! What a good girl she was.

Mommy & Carlie took Marissa to meet the Easter Bunny and she competed in the Easter Egg Hunt with other energetic toddlers!! Whoa--- watch out!

Marissa also celebrated her 2nd Birthday party with family & friends at the Children's Museum.

36 weeks pregnant

Busy! Busy! I am officially going to my weekly doctor appts. now. So excited about that. There is light at the end of this tunnel. August 20th dilated 1 cm. I have a lot of pressure and back pain! Much different than when I was pregnant with Marissa. This little man is heavy to carry! Brian is working on our landscaping backyard project and has limited time to finish before the baby arrives! I am looking forward to my last day of work before maternity leave. I have the rest of this week and next Friday is my last day! Yipee! I can't wait to relax for a minute and spend time with Marissa before Jackson is here. Today is kids day at the fair so Marissa and I will be going to see the animals. She is very talkative these days and doesn't forget something if you tell her. Gotta be careful :0)

Some funny things

SOME FUNNY THINGS

Carlie, Katrina, and Marissa are driving in the minivan. Carlie sits in the front passenger seat and Marissa yells to Carlie " That's Lindsey's carseat!" She was mad :) She then told Carlie "This is Mommy's truck!" (Everyone drives a truck)



Next incident: We are eating at a restaraunt and the waitress keeps calling us "sweetie". Marissa looks at the waitress and states "That's Daddy!" (Hello, not sweetie!)

Marissa is growing up so fast! It's amazing what she does every day...new words, attitudes, and "tricks". She is a happy girl and loves her family from grandma's to aunts, uncles, and cousins! She makes all of our efforts worth it with one smile. We both want to be better parents for this beautiful little girl. Thank you baby!

*~HAPPY VALENTINES DAY~* lovey dovey day....to my husband

He works very hard 6 days a week to provide for his girls and we really do appreciate it. He is usually exhausted and doesn't want to do much after work except relax on the couch and eat a good meal. He's a simple person really. :0) Marissa and I can demand a lot of attention being the females we are ;0) He cares about our future and makes sure we don't go without. Marissa loves her Dad. She asks about him every morning she wakes up (he's been gone since 6am) and every night when Dad is still at work (at 7pm) or at night school. His days are long and physically draining but we still manage to squeeze plenty of love out of him!

Brian has quit smoking. Let's try that again BRIAN HAS QUIT SMOKING!! It is his New Year's Resolution... and he has done very good thus far. Keep up the goodwork BLT :)

Expecting #2

We are expecting baby number two! The anticipated due date is September 15, 2009. No more Iced Teas :) Marissa is being introduced to the potty and we are so excited! Kids are so much fun and we are very blessed.
